  • Ragi powder : 1 cup
  • Whole Wheat flour : 1 cup
  • Chilled butter : 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Powdered sugar: 3/4 cup
  • Milk : as required


  1. Fry ragi flour on sim until aroma comes.
  2. Then in a large bowl, add ragi, wheat, baking powder, sugar and butter. Mix butter in the mixture until it forms like bread crumbs. Then add milk into mixture as required to make a dough. Don’t knead too much. Put it in refrigerator for 5-10 mins.
  3. Take out, roll the dough by dusting some all purpose flour and cut into cookies using cookie cutter. Grease pan with butter and place cookies. Pre-heat the oven and bake for 12-15 mins at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Take out and rest the cookies for some time and enjoy with tea.
