Introduction

Did you know that 70% of our body consist of water and by the time you feel thirsty your body is already dehydrated? During the hot summer months your body loses much more fluids as we expect because of which many people make the mistake of confusing feelings of hunger for thirst. Make sure that you are having at least eight cups of fluids into your body each day, especially during these hot summer months.

Eight cups of fluids doesn’t mean cold coffer, keep in mind that coffee or other caffeinated or alcoholic drink don’t count towards the total, these drinks contributes in dehydrating your body. But, it doesn’t mean you can’t drink any, it just means you will actually need an extra cup of fluid for every caffeinated or alcoholic beverage you consume.
