I have become a fan of this curry my mother made this brinjal poppy seed curry. The procedure for this recipe is very simple. So, try this and let me know how it turns out for you.

Ingredients

  • 2 big sliced brinjal
  • Green chili - 3-4 sliced
  • Tadka spices
  • Sesam Seeds - 1/2 tbsp ( Adjust as per the quantity of brinjal)
  • Salt as per taste
  • Red Chili as per requirement
  • Garam Masala - 1/2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat up the pan with some oil, put some mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, and green chili.
  2. ry the seeds for 2-3 minutes and then add long sliced brinjal into the pan. Add turmeric and salt to it and mix the brinjal properly.
  3. Cook the brinjal for approx. 70% at medium flame
  4. After 70% cooked brinjal, add fried and grinded sesame seeds to it and mix the same properly.
  5.  Fry the brinjal with seeds for 10 minutes and lastly add red chili powder as per your taste and 1/2 tbsp of garam masala. Lastly, mix it properly and let it for 5 minutes at low flame.
